Tim Stroud

Tim Stroud is a U.S. Army Veteran, former combat medic, and nationally recognized advocate for those who serve. Drawing on two decades of leadership in business, nonprofit development, and community engagement, Tim has built a career dedicated to empowering Veterans and their families. He is also the host of the Veterans Voice Podcast on HCCTV and an active volunteer across Houston and beyond.

As the Co-Founder and Chief Example Officer of Stay Tuned for Vets, Tim leads a nonprofit that empowers Veterans through the arts. From music and painting to acting, woodworking, and equine therapy, Stay Tuned for Vets provides creative outlets that promote healing, mental health, and community connection. The organization partners with local schools, colleges, businesses, and Veteran Service Organizations to reach thousands of Veterans and their families each year.

Stay Tuned for Vets has already delivered hundreds of classes, events, and volunteer projects, and is backed by more than 250 volunteers in 2024. With programs like Rainbow of Hope equine therapy and large-scale community events such as Operation Turkey and SINGO Fundraisers, the organization continues to grow its impact, ensuring Veterans and their families are supported, celebrated, and never forgotten.
