Creative Crafts for Healing & Connection
Hands-on art projects that inspire creativity, wellness, and community.
About the Program
Our Creative Crafts Program brings hands-on art experiences to Veterans and their families. Partnering with Charred and Starred, we’ve hosted sessions creating custom wooden American flags, along with woodcarving workshops, painting with local artists and venues, and other community-based projects. We continue to expand offerings to include blanket making, knitting, crochet, and more. These classes not only teach practical skills but also provide a therapeutic outlet for creativity, stress relief, and connection. Already, Veterans are discovering the joy and healing that comes from making something with their own hands.
